Arrived at BCN just before 8am after an uneventful flight – the best kind! Passing through customs and hitting the street was a breeze thanks to carry-on only. Managed to get a SIM and local number and get to my AirBnB in a reasonable amount of time and with only a little subway confusion.

Room is as expected: minimal and simple. I don't understand the point of spending big on lodging when I'm pretty much always asleep when there. Host is friendly and gave me some local tips. He was very confused that I sell records for a living. I think he misunderstood and believed Canada perhaps hadn't moved on to CDs yet. I didn't bother to get into it.
